USA First shelter for deaf victims of domestic abuse opens

ADWAS offices are in a newly constructed facility providing, for the first time in the agency's 20 year history, residential housing for deaf victims of domestic violence. ADWAS has partnered with the National Domestic Violence Hotline, based in Austin, Texas, to provide TTY services for victims needing referrals, information, and crisis intervention.The hotline numbers are 1-800-799-7233 and 1-800-787-3224(TTY).
